has scheduled a Day of Training and Certification
on the proper use of Muzzleloading Cannons
on Saturday the 28th of July 2018
from 9:00am till 4:00pm
along the shores of Dundonald
Entrance to the venue is located at 12173 Henley road in Rockville, Hanover County, Virginia 23146
The fee of $35.00 covers all of the training, an instruction manual, a two-year membership in the N. C. W. A. A., beverages all day and a hearty lunch served at noon!!!
Family members of trainees may arrive at the lake after noon and stay for a “day of fun in the Sun” and attend a covered dish supper at 6:00pm.
Please bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share for approximately 15 people.
Lunch for non-participants is $10.00. there will also be a class on the making of blank charges.

Directions: Take interstate 64 west from Richmond, Virginia to exit 173( Rockville-Manakin). At the top of the ramp, turn left onto county route 623 (Ashland road) and go 6/10ths of a mile. Turn right onto county route 622 (Rockville road) and go 3.8 miles. At the stop sign, proceed straight on route 622 (now called Walnut Hill drive) and go 7/10ths of a mile, then head straight onto county route 734 (Henley road) for a quarter of a mile. Veer left onto the gravel road, go pass the red gates and drive for a mile on the road. Enter The wooded area and go a quarter mile to the lake. Once at the shore, turn right, go a hundred yards and park on the grass to the left just before the beach.
